7 Chakras eco-friendly yoga mat
The concept of "energy wheel" chakras dates back to early Hinduism and Buddhism. Hinduism describes seven primary chakras that govern our human existence.
Overview of the 7 main chakras
The basic human chakra system is made up of seven chakras that run up the line of the spine from the coccyx to the top of the skull.
Names, locations and colors:
- "Muladhara" - Root Chakra - base of the spine, at the perineum, in the coccyx region – Rred
- mantra "LAM" - "Svadhishthana" - Sacral chakra - at the bottom of the abdomen, a few centimeters below the navel – Orange
- "Manipura" - Solar Plexus Chakra - stomach area – Yyellow
- "Anahata" - Heart Chakra - in the center of the chest, slightly to the left of the physical heart – Vert
- "Vishuddha" - Throat chakra - base of the throat at the level of the carotid plexus – Bleu
- "Ajna"- Third Eye Chakra - forehead, point between the eyebrows or "third eye" – Indigo
- "Sahasrara" - Crown Chakra - at the top of the skull – Violet
Associated with the functions of the body, they are however not only linked to the "physical", but are part of the field of "subtle energy". They are at the crossroads of the material and the immaterial, the biological and the spiritual, and belong to the body, the spirit and the soul all together.
